I got my first yorkie at the age of 19 and she was with me for over 14 years.
People get so caught up in the excitement of getting a little puppy that they fail to think ahead a few years when that puppy is in old age and needing constant care and veterinary assistance...it is a huge long term commitment not to be taken lightly...sadly too many people do.
