If you get her spayed before she has a second heat cycle, her risk of getting cancer as she gets older is only 8%. (Spaying females before they ever have a heat cycle eliminates the risk altogether).
If she has a second heat cycle, her risk of mammary cancer jumps to 25%, the same as an unspayed female.
