I read the comments from people who have those tiny little 2 and 3 pounders, and I cringe. My Bella is a little slip of a thing at 3.75 lbs.; Puddie the Porker is a little over 7 lbs. To ME, these dogs are TINY. They are belled so I know where they are and don't step on them.

Meds always give me the heebie-jeebies because the meds always seem to be for larger dogs, which means I'm overdosing my smaller dogs.

The way I see it, you have the best of both worlds: a wonderful little dog with all the looks and personality of a Yorkie in a slightly larger package that will be healthier and easier to medicate . You don't have to be as afraid that your pup will be hurt (as easily as the little ones).

Yeh, look at the bright side: you're kinda lucky!
