This was about 3 or 4 months ago. He checked out OK at the vet (just had worms) but was dewormed. He had a limp and the vet took x-rays and said he had a cracked femur that had already healed. He had obviously been abused and it took him a while to come around, but he's doing great now. Also I took him straight to the groomer to get rid of the seed ticks and matting. Vet said he was about 8-10 months old then.
He's such a funny little guy....I'm pretty he's retarded. LOL But he is so sweet and I have no regrets whatsoever. Here's a pic of him a couple of weeks after he went to the groomer.
If I were you I wouldn't hesitate to get him, but take him straight to the vet first, and have him do the works on him. Maybe you know someone without dogs who can "quarantine" him a couple of weeks after the vet visit, just to be safe.

Ahh! What a great story, with a great ending,,thats what I was hoping for.... SO I called the girl a little bit ago,, cause I couldn't stand it anymore.I said How is the dog... well I guess the woman that had the german Shephards that couldnt keep him, Knew a woman who had a Yorkie so she called her and she took him,, and she bathed him and said he goes to the vet on Sat. but seems fine, she said he is the most loveable dog she has met, and she said I could have him if I wanted,,but she really wants to keep him, he gets alone good with her dog,, SO,,, as much as I would love to have a little lover,,, I guess he is fine where he is,and has a good home, so I'm just gonna be glad it had a happy ending for him,and I dont have to worry anymore. BUt I would love to have him..... anyhow,,, hes happy, she's happy.. it's all good!

Thanx, you guys for all the interest and helpful words. I appreciate it.
