Thank you for the link. I just printed the article off and read it. I am positive that animals greive just as us humans do. Right now Misty is curled up on Max's blanket and Mazie has one of his toys under her chin. Someone came to the door and neither of them barked which is VERY unusual. It's just gonna take time for us to realize and accept that Max is gone. A friend offered me one of her baby Yorkies. At this point, I feel that that would be like replacing him. I told her thanks, but we aren't ready for another puppy. Maybe later this year. But I really wanted to thank you for the article.
