Hm, personally, I would wait until she's at least six months old. It CAN be done at a very young age as a lot of shelters neuter/spay young so they can be adopted. But, because of her weight and also, usually Yorkies must have retained baby teeth removed as well and it's best to do that while they're under for their spay/neuter operation. If you trust your vet though, he will tell you what's best.
