I personally no longer allow anyone to come to my home. I go to theirs or meet them in a neutral place. I feel that my first responsibility is to my family and my dogs to keep them safe. I understand wanting to know that the puppies were raised well, but I think there are other ways to determine that. Getting to know the breeder, seeing how he/she responds to your questions, seeing what kind of questions they ask you for example. Also a good health guarantee for the puppy. If it is a show breeder, there should be a track record for their dogs as well. JMO

A year or two ago we had an instance in a nearby community where robbers broke into someones house and gathered up all of her babies. She had a camera set up to watch them and caught the whole thing on tape. It only took them a few minutes...it was heartbreaking to see. It's sad, but I agree that breeders may have to start limiting who has access to their homes.

Sorry, OP, didn't mean to change the subject of your thread. I'm not familiar with the "breeder" you've mentioned, but imo...run!!! You are looking for a reputable breeder, and as you've said, you've already answered your own questions.
