If I were having to rehome him, I would look for someone like me Someone that is a stay at home Mom of grown kids (or no kids)...so, she would be able to devote alot of time and attention to him. I'm sure that would help with his transition. At first I'm sure he will be confused, but with enough love, he will soon be just fine at his new home......I'm more worried about you though

Whoever you decide to give him up to, I would do reference checks and even a home visit if possible.
