Well good news! Leila is just fine. With restricted activity, this morning she got up and was walking on it! I brought her to the vet anyway to be safe. He said she was probably a little sore or had a very minor soft tissue injury. Thanks everyone for your kind words and I think we will reconsider the area rug near the door!!
