 NV raw diet questions
Hi :-) I am in the process of getting both of my yorkies on the NV raw diet. I'm trying to determine the best type to buy; patties or medallions. I also am not exactly sure about how much to feed. I have been giving my 8 pound adult 1/4 of a patty 2Xs per day(4 oz) and my 5 month old puppy the same (she is 3 pounds) According to NV website the pup should get 3.3 oz and my adult 3.2. Does this sound right? So they actually are getting 4 oz each per day. Is is better to estimate up in oz? When are yorkies considered adult because the feeding amount changes for the puppy to 2 oz then. I hope this makes sense. Thanks for any advice with this. |
