Dogs are pack animals and if let loose to run a "puppy farm" as some of these places like to call themselves they would turn into roving packs of vicious animals all for their survival. Dogs are social creatures needing love and attention and human interaction. If you put a social creature as a dog into a cage without proper attention and socialization they will withdraw to cope with their situation. It is a very sad reality and fact that this does exist and it is a hard pill to swallow. Some are more willing to argue that conditions like this do not exist turning a blind eye and deaf ear on this horrible reality lurking all around us. | Elaine |
