In one of the first few shows Kate showed us her incredibly saggy belly skin and the wife of a plastic surgeon took pity on her and asked her husband to remove the skin for nothing. I was really happy for Kate and don't think her "makeover" was frivolous. She works out and is toned because of that. She has gotten more and more abrasive and I have stopped watching the show. I think the twins are spoiled brats and now the little kids are starting to act like Maddie.
As far as the Octomom goes - at least SOMEONE (ADC) will be keeping an eye on her and hopefully the children will benefit from the close scrutiny. The woman is definitely touched in the head but she is getting what she set out to get in the first place. There are probably worse moms out there than her.
