we are driving - it's approx 3 hours from the middle of LI - so probably 2 from Brooklyn. not sure if there is another way to get there - bus, train?
since it is a pet friendly hotel we are making it a weekend trip. the hotel is $119/night if you reserve by the 6th and tell them you are with the Save A Yorkie Rescue group.
there are over 100 people already registered and expecting at least 150 to show up (all with their pups).
