Default New to YT and very happy to be here!

We brought our little baby Boo-Bear home 2 weeks ago. Wasn't looking, just in the rgith palce at the right time to give little girl a home. She is now 16 weeks old. She is delightful and very bright. I found YT when she had injection site soreness. I was SO relieved because the day of the shot she was fine for hours until "night-night" (her bed command). The next morning when I picked her up she wailed. That sound nearly broke my heart thinking she was injured or I had hurt her.

So - - Wahlah! I surf, find YT and immediately felt better seeing the intelligent and realllllllly helpful replies online about others "shots".

This is an amazing community and rcih in many ways.

About us: I tell you this tale for no other reason than I am AMAZED at how much joy Boo brings us!

But for us, she is means SO much more than that.

They say miracles are a matter of perception. I needed a "Boo" and she needed a "Rita-mommy". I beleive my life is a gift and so is my poochie.

I have always known I would get a yorkie. I became seriously ill and didn't even think about adding anything to my life. Instead I felt like i kept losing parts of my life, bit by bit. I sufferred so much, went thru thousands of tests and thankfully it was mu husband who helped me to keep fighting and looking for answers. I didn't think the body could have so much pain in it and not be identifiable.

Thankfully (God and husband Mike), I am not in that living hell today It was life changing, I was only 41 and felt 90. It has been a hard road, we plowed thru our savings in 2 years of non-covered expiremnatl treatement -- BUT A MIRACULOUS ONE. I will always have this illness but my life has been restored to me and as long as I am willing to keep up the footwork & faith, I will be ok and provided for.

SO -- My baby, little Boo, is the "gift" we've made to ourselves in thanks and celebration of health, hope & faith.

Over 4.5 years ago, I developed a debilitating and rare chronic pain condition of the central nervous system & connective tissue disorder. I thought I'd be on disability, wheelchair bound and dependent for the rest of my life. After TEN neurologists and piles of files, and miles to doctors, we found a true healer, a globally recognized specialist. The man saved my life. I am blessed in that the condition has been treated very effectively by R&D techniques and amazing medial team.

Boo Bear is my daily joy. My celebration of faith, recovery, health, living and happiness.

My husband is my best friend, my cheering section and the love of my life. We have been married 6 years. I beleive that God put him in my life, and put the doc and Boo-Bear on my path.

We will enter puppy training this weekend. She potties on a pad (90% of the time) and is dying to play w/my youngest kitty. She loves her daddy. Let's see....She is a "french kisser" for sure! She loves wet grass oddly enough so we don't let her get too wet or cold. She has already learned sidewalk, loves people, to be held, and cottage cheese.

Cannot find a treat she likes yet, but willing to keep trying. I give the opened bags/boxes to my vet to give to her clients.

Enuff outta me

SO HAPPY TO BE HERE!!!
