Good luck. I do hope you vet the prospective dog thoroughly, because as you know, you will fall in love quickly, and a sick dog could bring you a lot of heartache. Sometimes people are hide the fact that the dog they are giving away is not well. I'm not saying this to discourage you, just trying to help you protect yourself before you are completely head over heels.

For instance, I would ask where the uncle got this dog from, and if you can call her vet to verify that she is healthy. I do wish you the best.
