i asked this question to the dog trainer at petco yesterday & her reply was to put her in a crate or kennel. she said in case you wrecked it would protect them from the glass is windows broke & they'd be secure if the glass did break & couldn't get out. so guess instead of a car seat i'll be buying a bigger kennel!
