If it happened less than an hour or so ago, you need to call a vet and see if they want you to induce vomiting. I have no idea how much chocolate is in a piece of chocolate cake but cocoa isn't good...
If you don't have an ER vet there, there must be one a town or two over that you can call or if not, some of the vets in your town should have information on what to do in an emergency on their answering machines.
