The boy was treated with daily doses of the Ivermectin mixed with a vitamin for six months. The female was treated for 3 and both have had clear skin scrapes.

He also had us bathe the dogs twice a week in SulfOxyDex shampoo and use Hylyt Bath Oil conditioning rinse.

With this combination we have had huge success. Let me know if you would like any more specific information or even my vet's phone and name. I'm sure he would be happy to share his knowledge with others.
Thanks for the replies.

Bugsmomma, Guppy started on Ivermectin but after 6 months his scrapes still showed too many mites and that's when they switched him to Interceptor. I've been toying with a different vitamin supplement so I'd love to know which you are using...plus I'll look into the shampoo and bath oil you're using. U of F had me shampooing twice weekly with Benzoyl Plus which is a moisturizing shampoo with benzoyl peroxide, but I can't use that with the Promeris as it will wash it off. I am wondering about the oil though and will surely check that out. He's also on Simplicef which is an antibiotic.

Glad to know someone else is using the Promeris as I'm always worried about new medications.
