Good luck on getting rid of the fleas, they can be bad. Thank goodness we have never had a problem with them, but I went into the vets one day and he said he had given a dog a blood tranfusion from being infested with fleas. I always thought ticks were bad but never realized how bad fleas are and what they can do.
It was recommended to me to stop flea medicines before I bred Bella Mia. I like to take the side of caution being my first time and all so I did as suggested. I have bathed her in the dawn dish soap and waited 5 minutes much to Bellas dismay heeeheeeheee! Generally the vet has recommended Comfortis by Lily for flea medicine for both our dogs. Anyone have any opinions on this medicine after puppies are weaned?
