Default Bee sting

Toby jumped to catch a bee today, caught it in his mouth, and I assume it stung him. He cried and paw'd at his mouth, and the bee came out.

That was about 2 hours ago. I rang the vet as soon as it happened, and they said some dogs will react to a sting and some wont, but if they do, it will happen pretty much instantly. They said put baking soda on it. (not easy to get baking soda into a 13week old puppies mouth!) and if looked like he was starting to act strange, take him straight in.

So far he has been acting pretty normal. He is eating, wanting out to play. He is on my shoulder sleeping at the minute.

How long before I know there was definitely no adverse reaction. I am afraid of his tongue swelling and blocking his airways, but all looks ok so far.
