Sugar developed terrible allergies out of the blue. His skin would become red and inflamed and he was really itchy. He went on a short round of prednisone and it cleared up but came back. The second time he also had seborrhea which left his skin flaky and stinky. During all of these outbreaks his eyes were runny and sticky. The vet put him on another round of prednisone for a longer period which of course I hated but I was desperate. He also went on a medicated shampoo which cleared the seborrhea up right away. During this time I started him on Ark Naturals Miracle Coat which is a fish/borage oil. When he came off of the prednisone the second time his skin was fine but his eyes are still having the same problems on and off. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the eye wash will do the trick.

I've heard people have had great success with distilled water. I tried it for 2 gallons and didn't see any difference but it's worth a shot.
