I bought these bully sticks from Westbrookdog.com and they are great! I put them in the freezer at night, it keeps them fresher and the cold helps sooth his teething. I bought another kind, which was knotted at both ends, and he DID manage to get a dangerously large piece off it. He was trying to swallow it whole when I took it away. So to answer your question, the type of bully sticks which he is eating in the pic DO hold together quite well, but beware of the knotted type.
