lol dont worry evryone has trouble at first.
click on the "user cp" link above to your left,
then on the left column under "settings & options" click "Edit Avatar"
then click on the "browse" link and upload a picture from your own files
then just save it!
*remember you image cant be any larger than 75 X 75 pixels
