About Silky vrs Yorkie's I thought a Silky did have the long muzzle? ANd is larger then the yorkie breed? Am i mistaken? How does one tell these 2 a part? [/QUOTE]
Breed standard for the Silky is 8 to 10 lbs and as they were bred with the Australian Terrier they are more substantial in body girth than the Yorkie. Their snout is usually longer and their legs are shorter and a bit stockier. Stronger overall. Their hair is also very silky (LOL) with a great sheen and tends not to mat.
