We have this car seat too and LOVE IT!! We got both sizes becuase Mitzys right on that 9 pound mark so she fits in the smaller one but cant sprawl out like she likes too in the bigger one. I love these seats they are so sturdy yet comfy for her and so easy to hook into the seatbelt
