Okay, so I was in the hospital for 4 day's the last week of April. My husband is required to take 5 day's off unpaid each quarter at work. So he took off the last week of April so he could take care of the house and kids while I was gone. A day or two before I go in the hospital, our only vehicle goes to truck heaven. My husband is trying (bless his heart) to keep the house clean and take care of the kids, plus trying to figure out what we are going to do without a vehicle (thank god for my father inlaw, He is letting us borrow his truck.) Anyway, so my husband gets online to file his claim on Fri of that week. A week or two later we haven't gotten any money yet, so he calls them. They tell us that he was denied because he filed around 4:00 and you have to file by 2:00. Where do they tell you that crap? My husband is going to appeal, and bug the s**t out of them (his words), but I don't see it doing a bit of good. There process for everything is looong. It takes about 2 weeks to get a phone interview to explain what happened, then they took about 2 more weeks to tell us we were denied. When you file an appeal it takes about 30 days to happen, then 45-75 days to find out if you get you're money or not. So my husband is out of a weeks pay

Thank you for letting me rant!!
