I am sure I speak for everyone here when I say NO to purchasing pets from pet stores.
I would make sure to choose a reputable breeder, like one from here on YT. That way you can get feedback from people who have already adopted from the breeder.
A rescue is probably the kindest act of all, so many out there with no homes.
It is a big decision, one that needs to be researched as thoroughly as possible. Best of luck. Let us know what you decide.
