I think the rules have changed. I have USAA for everything, except homeowners ins..... WAAAAYYYY to expensive in the coastal bend!! State Farm is unbeatable here for that, but everything else under the sun that USAA offers, I use.

Oh and the only person in my family that has served in the military is my grandfather, I have USAA because my step mom was a broker there for over 20 years. I'm sure if your father has served you can join! I should hope so at least. Tell them to call me I'll vouch for you!
