Thank you for taking the time to post your replies. As the time quickly approaches for the new little girl to be rescued and brought to a loving home and a baby sister, I am helping my friend compile and sort through any information which will make this long journey less stressful. Your recommendations are most welcome and I have taken your advice and read many of the other threads which are posted under "Traveling with Yorkies". Medical records, airline info and an appropriate travel crate are being gathered in preparation for the furbaby.
As usual, the members of Yorkie Talk have graciously shown their concern for others and their willingness to help.
