Hi Tink-n-Kody! Mason does the coughing/hacking thing too.....at least twice a day. Mostly it happens when he's playing and running around the house. It's quite different from what other people are describing as "reverse sneezing" because Mason isn't exactly gasping for air....it's almost sounds like he's trying to discharge something stuck in his throat.

I read a book that said Yorkies do this when they play, so I have not concerned myself with it. But if it's excessive, I think you should get Kody checked out, just to be safe.
