Hi. Zeus has MVD and is managed very well with diet. He is on Denosyl SD4 and Hills LD. Treats at our houseare vegetables, fruits, cheerios, and an occasional piece of a ginger cookie!
He turned 8 years old last week and his bloodwork came back fantastic!!! I know there isn't one definitive answer for all dogs, but when Zeus was diagnosed as a puppy, I had him on more supplements. I chose to find the minimum he could be on and be healthy and feel good so I would have more options as he ages. So far so good!!!
