ANd you will have the den , go for it ! It does not matter what your friends think. You do what you feel is right for you and your Yorkie.
It makes me angry and sad that your baby was abused like that ! So glad you got rid of him. I hope your yorkie has not suffered any long term emotional damage/behavior problems from being mistreated.
