I bought my harness at PetsMart for $8.00. It is not a vest type but you put the dogs front legs in it, and it hooks between the shoulders with a plastic clip like baby strollers have. I especially like it because it fits well, is sturdy, and doesn't choke even if your dog pulls away because it doesn't fit around the neck at all. I wish I could remember the brand, but hopefully I've given enough information for you if you choose to look into it.
