If there is anyway that you can wait to bring home your new puppy until older, this is ideal. at 7 weeks old, there is risks of hypoglcemia, and the puppy has not had time to learn propper social skills. how tiny is the puppy?
if there is nobody to be able to be at home all the time with the new puppy it is more serious.
is there anyway you can take care of both mom and the puppies why the family is gone on vacation?
