 Prayers Needed
I am sitting in the hospital next to my father as he lays dying from kidney failure. So, with a heavy heart, I ask all of my yorkie friends to keep me and my father in their prayers as we take this difficult journey together.
He has been on dialysis the past 4 years. Ever since a 6 way by-pass he'd had 4 years ago, his kidneys quit functioning and has needed dialysis. My mother had also passed away 4 1/2 years ago from CHF and lung failure. Since then he has slowly lost the will to live. He stopped taking his dialysis treatments a little over 2 weeks ago and is now at the point of no return. His doctors give him 48 hours or less. I am beside myself with grief already. I really don't know what I'm going to do with him gone as well. I already feel so lost.
