I would call your vet and let them know- see if they want to see her- but many members on here have reported ticks on their pups and dont' seem to call the vet so i'm assuming it is ok? not sure.....
I am no help with what you should give as I don't give meds for flea/tick- just heartworm. hopefully someone else will be able to help you out
