My yorkie is almost seven and she is an only pup. She is a very happy pup and can be somewhat independent. She likes other dogs, but I think she likes being the only spoiled rotten baby. If your pup won't eat and vomits frequently, maybe you should check with the vet. I know several people who have "only" yorkies, and they seem fine. Good luck with your little one.
