You know who taught me alot about what questions to ask, Ellie May
I would send her a mesg and she will let you know. There is a big difference in the treatment of larger dogs vs small dogs. Not all vets are trained for proper treatment with these little guys. You need to ask questions like, Do you use Iso or Sevoflurane, do you do a full blood panel prior to surgery, IV fluids, heart monitor, pain medication during and after surgery ask them if they know what a BILE ACID TEST does and Protein C. Also, my vet will not give all the shots at one time when we get the series of 3, he splits them up. Too much for these little guys to handle. Crystal, Ellie May, will help you with more and so will others. Just take note and everything will work fine and if you dont like the vet,go to another. Its your right...Good Luck
