Angry craigslist

The sad thing about this, is that you will probably find some of these folks are asking a lot of money for these pups. I just responded to one here in Rochester NY. He wanted to get most of his money back for what he paid for the pup. He was asking $550. That is not a lot for a Yorkie. However Craigslist forbids selling of animals. They want a small re-homing fee, which translates to under $200. Some people list the price, others don't. The people who don't list the price are usually asking a lot for their puppies because they know they will get flagged, and their ad removed. They buy these pups and then give them up because they don't take into consideration how much work is involved in training a puppy. It is like having a child, it takes work and love. There are people like me willing to pay a small re-homing fee and give their baby a forever home. It is very sad because it does not only happen to Yorkies, but to all dogs (and other animals too).
