Well, I got my first dog technically when I was 4 years old and she was a Golden. Then at the age of 9, we got a German Shepherd. But even though they were called "my" dogs, I was too young for that to be true, lol. Jackson is MY first real dog so I guess my first breed of dog was a Yorkie
My NEXT dog is a tough one, and although I LOVE my Jackson, I don't know if I'd want another Yorkie. Simply because I think I would never get another Yorkie like Jackson! Plus, I like his bigger not-so-typical Yorkie size (14lbs!) I have a few breeds in mind. Papillion, Australian Shepherd or Golden retriever would probably be top picks. But hopefully my next dog will be from a shelter so who knows what I'll get
