I would be careful and nicely talk to the owner and explain your concern. Even if the dog is nice if it hasn't played with a small dog it might hurt him. If they aren't nice about it give them a copy of the leash law and let them know how a yorkie owner feels about there furbaby. It is sad you can't walk your dog around our own block. I use to walk mine every day till a boxer mix jumped the fence and came after us. I was screaming like a wild women and Thank God the nieghbor was out and helped me. I have never been so scared in my whole life. I couldn't pick them all up. I was so very lucky, he only put a scratch on Maddies back leg, some how she came out of her harness when I was trying to pick her up. Please be very careful. |
