I took Scruffs to the vet for his exam (he just turned 1 year) and the vet told us that one of his testicles didn't drop. he said we had to get him neutered as soon as possible because it can become tumorous.

How soon do I need to get him neutered and the "undropped" testicle removed? Does it make a difference if I only get the "undropped" testicle removed and keep him with the other (ha.)
