Dogs live in the moment. They don't hold grudges and sulk for days over anything. I suspect he is getting a little older and getting used to you and his surroundings and this is his personality. Since you had him checked out by your Vet and nothing is wrong physically, try accepting him as he is. Allow him to come to you for attention. It may be that he is not going to be a lap dog always wanting petting. Some are rather independent, it doesn't mean he doesn't love you or need you, he is just able to be satisfied by himself. |
