The sad truth is he may just be some BYB or Puppymill Stud dog that got away, and that could be the reason that no one is looking for him....

I think you are doing all the right things. I wouldn't give up finding his owners, but at the same time I agree that you truly need to becareful about who you give him to. You should ask them for proof of his name and ask for photos.

I also think that if you are becoming attached and are up for being owned by a Yorkie, than you should also start to prepare for that fact as well. I think after a reasonable amount of time and no one claims him, you should get him UTD on his shots, neuter him and clean teeth!

You are his ONLY guardian right now, and you sound like a wonderful foster parent. Wishing you the best
