Sad diarreah/vomitting (food? or illness?)

I am going to call the vet tomorrow and get his opinion on what to do, but I thought I would post here~ just in case anyone has a suggestion.
My little girl went with me to my parents' house last week where (like always) she was fed yummy food by my dad. I know that many disagree with this, but she has always been allowed SOME human food, but I am very particular with what she eats and know all the no-no's of what can make them sick. When she had loose stools a couple days later, I figured it was probably from extra people food from the weekend. However, a couple days after that, she threw up, but mainly the yellow kind that she gets from allergies. I would have left it at that thought, but while the loose stools firmed up, they are still not completely solid and she threw up once more another few days down the road. It has been 2 weeks since we went to my parents' and she is still having mild problems. She has not been herself much, but still active and eating/drinking. She has had a weird issue though the last couple days with her stools~ she will go, but then a couple seconds/minutes later she will have an extra little "squirt" that sticks to her bottom and today kind of stuck like it wasn't out all the way???
BTW she is 4 and I have been feeding her Innova dry for a very long time and Innova canned flex to supplement on top of her food. While she was having severe diarreah at the beginning I gave her bland chicken and rice canned food which helped after a few days and then once she had not had diarreah for 48 hours, I put her back on her regular diet.
