I trained Cooper from the 1st day to go outside. I got Carley when she was 6 months old and she was supposed to be pee pad trained. I say supposed to be, because while she did go on the pee pads, she also went on small area rugs I had in the house...it was like she couldn't tell the difference. I decided I wanted them both to do the same, so I just started from scratch with her, like when I first got Cooper.
On the rare occasion she has an accident, (maybe once every 6 months) she will still find an area rug, usually the bath mat in the bathroom, LOL. Cooper does not have accidents, ever. I agree with the sticking to one method.
