Great news. The vet called this morning and said Bubba was doing fine. They gave him meds by mouth and he kept them down and would give him more at noon. She would call if he didn't but other wise I could pick him up at 1:30P AND TAKE HIM HOME. So good news, he is snuggled up next to me on the couch and taking a nap. Thank you, thank you all for your support and concern.
They feel it was HGE hemmorhagic gastro enteritis. The vet said it is common in small dogs, cause unknown, and once it sets in they can deteriorate very quickly.
