So lately, we have been taking Lucas over to a friend's to have play dates with her golder retriever. Lucas looooves golden retrievers and being the tough cookie he is, he loves the rough and tumble playing (he is always safe don't worry!). The funniest part is that the Golden usually gets chased by Lucas! We have ongoing banter with the friend about how our "girly" dog chases her big tough dog when they play
Anyway! At a gathering at our house, another friend of the family (talks constantly, gossips and has never had anything nice to say about Lucas) was talking to my mom and golden's mommy, and they were joking about Lucas and the Golden playing.
This woman says "Well of COURSE [the golden] is scared of Lucas..hes SO yappy!!!" Now let me just say, that we didn't know Lucas could bark until we had had him for 2 months. He is the least yappy dog I know, and only barks when (duh) someone is at the door!
So my mother says to her "Not as Yappy as YOU!"
