Well, doc wanted to keep Kilo last night and all day today also. I was getting a little frantic with worry as his office is closed today and I was beginning to think I'd misunderstood (Spanish/English) his instructions this am to wait for his call this "afternoon". About 6:30pm "this afternoon"

he called and said to come get him.
I didn't talk much at all to the vet - he was in the office operating on a dog who'd been hit by a car. He sent us home with Clavaseptin, something else and the Flagyl from before.
You can imagine the little guy was overjoyed to see us, ate up all his babyfood and had a good poop (no diarrhea) so it seems his digestive and excretive systems are in good working order.
I'm guessing the pain he was in was related to the surgery - he still needed medication - and probably gas.
He is FULL of energy and now I know what the others were talking about in trying to keep him "down".
