Hi.
This looks like protecting behavior. When your Dad approaches her and you on the couch, if she even growls put her directly on the floor. Do not let her get back up. She must wait until you ask her back up. Keep doing this until she allows your Dad to approach and sit and pet her. Be very consistent, you don't want to send her mixed messages. Your Dad can also give her treats, when she is behaving. Do not tolerate barking, growling, nipping or biting in this or any situation.

She's trying to be Alpha dog. You need to be more Alpha than her. Make rules for her, and correct anything you don't want to see repeated.
